Fox Energy Specialists , a Division of The Nelrod Company, has been providing home energy rating services in Texas since 2000 and certified more than 40,000 homes during that time.
Fox Energy is one of the few Home Energy Rating Providers to cross market segments and provide Energy Efficiency Consulting, Home Energy Ratings and Services to support ENERGY STAR in Residential New Construction as well as Affordable Housing, Public Housing and Multi-Family Developments.
Our company is a two-time recipient of the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award as well as the Outstanding Achievement Award winner from the TXU Utility Incentive Program for five years in a row. Fox’s commitment to the ENERGY STAR Program is evident by our involvement and support of the EPA’s initiatives through leadership positions within the ratings and building industries, and our support for the program through training and educational outreach. Fox Energy has been a leader in the Dallas/ Fort Worth market for several years and has expanded our services into the Houston market.
Through our other Divisions, Fox Energy Specialists have also been actively working with HUD and Public Housing Authorities across the country to promote energy efficiency through a variety of initiatives including energy audits and our Consortium Partnerships. These partnerships have afforded us the opportunity to work with more than 150 Public Housing Authorities across the country on their energy initiatives. Fox Energy is proud of our partnership with the EPA and ENERGY STAR and will continue to promote the program and its benefits for years to come.
